Reconciliation
This Sacrament is known by many names: Penance, Confession, Reconciliation. What’s important isn’t so much what you call it, it’s that you celebrate the Sacrament regularly! In the Sacrament of Reconciliation, we confess our sins verbally to a priest, who is acting in Persona Christi, or in the Person of Christ. We have to verbally list our sins so that they become a reality to us, and so that we can verbally hear the confirmation that our sins are forgiven by God.
Confessions are heard at Mother of Divine Providence on Saturdays from 3:00-3:45pm.
Additional times are scheduled during Advent and Holy Week and will be published in the bulletin and on the website. You may also call the parish office to schedule an appointment.
