As you know over the past few years our parish has been making many improvements to our campus that have rejuvenated parish life and has served to maintain and improve our buildings. Because our buildings are almost fifty years old, things can go wrong quickly and we need to secure our parish financial base in order to meet these challenges: replacement of the boiler/air conditioner in the Church, replace the roofing on the Church and School building, upgrade the parking lot, and replace the lighting in the Church. These are some of the big ticket items with which we have to exercise wisdom and good stewardship if we are to meet our responsibilities to each other in insuring a healthy parish.
The insertion of a separate PARISH FUND envelope beginning in your October mailing gives us the opportunity to save money that can be used in emergencies without jeopardizing our ordinary operating budget. I would appreciate your serious consideration when donating to this fund each month.
