It is the consistent weekly contributions of our parishioners that support our daily operations and the ongoing maintenance of our facilities. The parish greatly depends on your regular use of the weekly contribution envelopes mailed bi-monthly to every registered household. It facilitates budgeting and the managing of expenses. Mother of Divine Providence Parish publicly launched the Building on the Foundation Capital Campaign in February 2007. This campaign will fund the renovation and expansion of existing facilities. These projects will touch every area of our campus; from the church worship space, to McGrory Hall (an existing meeting room), to the school and the construction of a Parish Center. Our goal is to expand on that which was built by parishioners 50 years ago and to provide for the current and future needs of our parish. (Capital Campaign site)
The Mother of Divine Providence Parish School Endowment Fund was established in 2005. The intent is to accumulate enough funds so that its earnings can be applied to operating expenses, capital improvement projects and tuition assistance. The Endowment Fund will provide better facilities and better programming for our full-time students, our religious education students and the children who attend our Vacation Bible School. The Mother of Divine Providence Sanctuary Fund is used to maintain and refurbish the appointments in our sanctuary. In addition, specific items can be designated as memorial donations. A complete list of these items can be reviewed with a parish staff member or you may contact us via e-mail at mdpinfo@mdpparish.com.
The Mother of Divine Providence Mass Enrollment Program is designed to honor the living, or to remember the dead. Enrollments are available at the Parish Offices. The announcement of your Mass Enrollment will be presented in an attractive white leatherette folder (including a photograph of our outdoor shrine of Mary, Mother of Divine Providence). The donor may choose one of three enrollment periods (25 years, 50 years or a perpetual remembrance) with a donation of $25, $50, or $100. The proceeds realized from the Enrollment Program will benefit our Building Fund. The enrollment is a thoughtful and prayerful gift on the occasion of one’s birthday or anniversary. Are you 70-1/2 years old and wish to make a donation to Mother of Divine Providence? Congress has passed legislation (CARE Act) that allows you to make to Mother of Divine Providence Church tax-free contributions directly from your IRA.
