Our Campaign Chairpersons...

There comes a time in everyone’s life when we must disregard the adage of never volunteering when the cause is one in which you believe. We have been members of MDP for almost 30 years. Our four children attended MDP School, and we have served on various boards, organizations and committees of the church and
school.

The Parish is the people and the people constitute the Church. We need to modernize, update and refurbish the facilities that make up the physical part of the Parish so the families that are the foundation of the church for the next 30 years can build for their own futures and those of the religious community. The only way to insure for a strong presence of the Church tomorrow is to prepare for it today. Thus, we agreed to serve as Co-Chairpersons of the Capital Campaign Committee to help raise the funds needed to insure a strong Church for the future.

Drew and I are happy to be serving as Co-Chairpersons for the Building on the Foundation Campaign because we believe in giving back to God from all the blessings He has bestowed on us. And we believe in Monsignor Conway, the community, and the future of Mother of Divine Providence.

We are thrilled to have this opportunity to participate in the
capital campaign because we have experienced the generous spirit of the parish directly, through the Giving Tree Program. We honestly believe that by meeting the building/physical needs of the parish, our ministry programs will grow, directly benefiting our parish family and those in need. Through our involvement in school and parish activities we have experienced the true nature of "family" and have met some remarkable people. We are honored to be a part of Building on the Foundation and preparing for the future while continuing the rich tradition that is Mother of Divine Providence.
